Hello, hey, hi...

Hello and welcome. This blog has been a decade’s worth of learning, watching, and waiting, and yet, here I am with nothing creative that showcases the joy that life brings me in a way for the world to see. I know what you’re probably thinking: why does the world need another aesthetic blog from a thirty-something-year-old gay guy? And the answer is simple: me. This blog isn’t the most groundbreaking idea. It isn’t something that will gatekeep never-before-seen content. It isn’t even something that will focus on the newest and the boldest trends in the current meta-sphere. This blog is for me – to show my persona, my likes, my opinions, my recipes, my ideas, my designs, and most importantly, my world. This blog is meant to show off that certain something that I bring to the table after adding my own little ‘Chance’ flair to it.

This blog in my head is separated into 6 microblogs – 6 different parts of me that bring me the most joy. These microblogs have different vibes and different content. Different posting schedules, but meant to resonate into 6 different categories melded into one space. The categories that I’ve chosen appeal to a large range of blog readers and personalities, and that is what I want to capture – community and shared experience, all while providing my silly little ways of doing things.

The microblogs focused in this space will include:

The Tastemaker – a microblog highlighting my love of food, drink, and cooking

The Star Child – a microblog that will focus on the cosmos and all things astrological

The Style Savant – a microblog dedicated to my first love, fashion & style

The Bookworm – a microblog that follows along with the books I delve into

The Culture Critique – a microblog that touches on current happenings in media

The Homebody – a microblog that features interior and exterior design that interests me

That’s definitely not to say that these are the only things that make me who I am, but these are the things that I find enough interest in to add my insight. The idea in my head is that this blog starts a conversation with you, dear reader, with a similar interest or two. Commonalities and interest bonding are what make the Internet such a special place, and I am just trying to add my voice into the void, hoping that someone will hear and respond.

And if that doesn’t happen, it’ll just be another aesthetic blog from some

thirty-something-year-old gay guy.

All of that to say, this is Life & Style, per Chance. Let’s have some fun…

Xo, C.
